EV Charger Installation Services
Your Complete End-to-End EV Charging Solution
Adding an Electric Vehicle charger is one of the highest continuous electrical loads you can place on a residential panel. At Hidden Technology Inc. (1HTI), we provide a complete, turnkey solution to fulfill all of your home EV charging needs. As Licensed Master Electricians and IT/Networking Specialists, we engineer code-compliant Level 2 charging infrastructure, optimize your electrical panel, handle permitting, and establish reliable Wi-Fi and network connectivity to your charger so you enjoy flawless smart feature access from day one.
Why Homeowners & Trade Partners Choose 1HTI
Most installers specialize strictly in high-voltage wiring OR low-voltage tech. As a Master Electrical Contractor with deep networking expertise, we bridge high-voltage electrical power and enterprise-grade networking under one roof.
Full Wi-Fi & Network Integration
Unlike standard electrical contractors who leave the charger offline after physically installing it, 1HTI provisions and configures your charger’s Wi-Fi network connection, app integration, OTA firmware updates, and local signal coverage.
Dynamic Load Sharing
Is your main electrical panel constrained? We utilize Tesla Dynamic Power Management, Energy Meters, and Group Load Sharing to charge safely without expensive panel upgrades.
Choosing the Right Charger & Circuit for Your Vehicle
You have flexible options when selecting your EV charging hardware and performance tier. Because EV charging is a continuous load, National Electrical Code (NEC) rules require the circuit breaker to be sized at 125% of the charger's nameplate output current (Charger Output Amps × 1.25 = Minimum Breaker Rating).

Your EV Charger Options
We install and support a wide range of Level 2 charging hardware, giving you complete flexibility to choose the best option for your budget, vehicle model, and smart home setup:
1. Tesla Wall Connector (Gen 3)
Best for: Tesla Owners (Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, Cybertruck)
Power Output: Up to 11.5 kW / 48A continuous output (adds up to 44 miles of range per hour on a 60A breaker).
Circuit Size: Dedicated 60A double-pole breaker (software adjustable for 15A–50A panels).
Features: Auto-sensing handle to open charge port, 24-foot cable, Wi-Fi connectivity for OTA updates, and schedule management via the Tesla app.
2. Tesla Universal Wall Connector
Best for: Multi-EV Garages & Non-Tesla Vehicles (Rivian, Porsche, Ford, BMW, Hyundai, etc.)
Universal Compatibility: The integrated J1772 adapter charges both Tesla and non-Tesla EVs natively, no extra dongles needed.
Power Output: Up to 11.5 kW / 48A output on a dedicated 60A breaker.
Future-Ready: PowerShare V2H capability (vehicle-to-home power back-feed) for supported models during power outages.
Group Power Management: Share power across up to 6 units on a single branch circuit.
3. Universal & Brand-Specific Level 2 Chargers
Best for: Custom smart home integrations or preferred EVSE brands (ChargePoint, Emporia, JuiceBox, Autel, etc.)
Flexible Hardware Choice: Hardwired or plug-in options engineered precisely to match your vehicle's onboard charger limits.
Energy Monitoring: Integration with home energy monitoring systems and solar array load management.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why hardwire instead of installing a NEMA 14-50 plug outlet?
Hardwiring creates a continuous, low-resistance copper bond capable of full 48-Amp (11.5 kW) output on a 60A circuit. Plug-in outlets top out at 40 Amps (9.6 kW), require pricey $150+ GFCI breakers under NEC rules, and carry higher thermal fatigue risks over years of continuous heavy draw.
Why is Wi-Fi configuration included with 1HTI?
Most electricians only handle high-voltage wiring and leave the charger's digital setup to the customer. Because 1HTI is dual-certified in high-voltage electrical work and network automation, we set up your charger's Wi-Fi connection, ensure signal strength in your garage, and verify app communication before completing the job.
What if my main panel is out of capacity?
We can install a Tesla Dynamic Power Management meter or smart load management system. It actively monitors your total home electric draw and adjusts EV charge speeds in real-time to avoid panel overloads without replacing the main panel.
Do you install chargers for non-Tesla EVs?
Yes. We install all Level 2 units, including ChargePoint, Emporia, Autel, and the Tesla Universal Wall Connector (which features a built-in J1772 adapter).
